Greeting is an act of communication in which human beings intentionally make their presence known to each other, to show attention to, and to suggest a type of relationship (usually cordial) or social status (formal or informal) between individuals or groups of people coming in contact with each other. There are many different greeting gestures in different parts and cultures of the world. Hand shaking is one of the most common greeting gestures. However, as you may have noticed, Muslims sometimes refrain from shaking hand with the opposite gender. But, why? To know the why of the matter watch this video:
